About the RoleOur client Foodbank is seeking a motivated HR Officer to join the HR team. This position is instrumental in anticipating business critical requirements, mastering internal systems for efficiencies, and developing harmonious business relationships. In addition to the HR responsibilities, this role is also required to manage and maintain corporate and group volunteering engagements in both the Foodbank WA community kitchen and warehouse areas. This is a permanent Part time position working 22.8 hrs a week.
Responsibilities include :
Provides effective HR and administrative support to the HR team.Support HR projects and Adhoc duties.Supports the HR team in documenting HR reports in Alertise.Support the coordination and delivery of initiatives and company recognition activities to build an inclusive and high-performance culture.Providing staff courses and learning and development-related communicationsCollate and analyse training data to maintain compliance with skills matrix and training needs analysis and prepare monthly performance reports.Coordinates invoicing for corporate volunteer engagements, ensuring they are accurate and processed on time.Manages and maintains corporate volunteer calendar, ensuring that it is up to date.Responds to corporate volunteer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.Assists in maintaining Better Impact CRM and ensure regular functioning of the volunteer database system and generating monthly reports
Job RequirementsTo be considered for this exciting opportunity you will have the following :
2 years experience working in a similar role.A relevant HR tertiary qualification including Bachelor or Cert IV.A demonstrated a high level of competency using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Possession or of progress towards an appropriate training and development qualificationProven experience in the development, and review of learning development programAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.Experience with HRIS software.Advanced time management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience in working with, and communicating with, organisations at a wider community level, including industry, government, and professional bodies; andAbility to work in an environment that is under-resourced and continue to deliver results.DesirableMembership of or eligible for membership of Australian HR InstituteDemonstrated experience with a broad stakeholder group including management, staff, Board of Directors, and external groups.Understanding of not-for-profit organisations and community-based Human Services Provision.Other RequirementsBe an Australian Citizen / Permanent Resident with valid Australian work rightsCurrent and valid WA driver's license.National Police clearance or the ability to obtain oneCovid vaccinated and be willing to obtain a medical assessment of current healthBenefitsIn return, you will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration package including salary packaging and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic, innovative, and long-standing community services organisation.
