Network & Unified Communications (UC) Engineer

Type : Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a Network & Unified Communications (UC) Engineer with strong experience across enterprise voice systems and core networking to join a high-performing team delivering complex and varied technology solutions across SA-based clients.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, implement, and support Unified Communications platforms, including Cisco Call Manager, Unity Connection, Contact Center Express, Jabber, and Expressway
Support and maintain SIP / VoIP infrastructure and integrations with Microsoft Teams, Asterisk, and 3CX
Provide hands-on support across Cisco UCS, Cisco CUBE, Call Manager Express, and other enterprise telephony solutions
Work with routing, switching, and firewall technologies as part of broader network infrastructure support
Support server environments including Windows Server, Linux / Unix systems, VMware ESXi, and LDAP / Samba where relevant
Engage with customers, vendors, and internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues

Skills & Experience :

Strong background in UC platforms, particularly Cisco Voice technologies

Solid experience with SIP, VoIP, ISDN, and PBX systems

Exposure to Microsoft Teams integration and Genesys PureCloud CX is a bonus

Proficiency with VMware, Windows Server, and Linux systems administration

Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills

Desirable Certifications :

Cisco certifications (CCNP Collaboration, CCNA), Microsoft Teams Voice certification, or equivalent industry experience
