This is a hands-on, senior-level contract role focused on correcting past accounting issues , improving system integration, and delivering clear financial insights to senior stakeholders. You’ll be instrumental in untangling historical errors, particularly in lease accounting, reconciliations, and data integration between payroll and finance systems . Initially offered as a 6-month contract , the position has strong potential for extension or permanency based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the cleanup of legacy financial records, with a focus on lease accounting and reconciliations.
• Investigate and resolve issues with payroll and finance system integration.
• Conduct detailed variance analysis, providing actionable recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Collaborate with finance, IT, and HR teams to ensure data integrity and system consistency.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership, highlighting key risks and opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement in project accounting processes and internal controls.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors, ensuring documentation and compliance standards are met.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.) to analyze and visualize financial data.
