We currently have a great opportunity for YOU to accelerate your success by joining our Workplace Management Services team. This 'hospitality style' division of Colliers International is designed for premium corporate occupiers that desire best in class service for their guests and employees.

This is the future of workplace - creating, curating and managing workplace experiences for premium clientele for both internal guests (employees) and external guests. These are spaces that are meticulously designed to ensure that our guests perform at their best.

In collaboration with the Corporate Services Team, the National Events Lead is responsible for the successful delivery of client meetings and events both corporate and community based, throughout our premium locations. This includes welcoming and hosting visitors and guests to the floor while steering scheduled events to successful outcomes, with the co-operation of our National Corporate Services Team. These tasks are completed with bespoke and exceptional service standards.

This is a dynamic role responsible for the successful leadership and delivery of events, including managing client (internal and external) relationships, dining operations and coordination of general workplace cultural events. Additionally, the role may be required to offer administration support to the site's management team.

Key responsibilities include, but not be limited to

  • Planning for meetings and events by consulting with the client stakeholders, management, operational team and external catering providers
  • Become the point of contact and _Events Ambassador_ for the corporate services national operation
  • Oversee meeting and event catering quotes and deliver value on budgets.
  • End-to-end event delivery including consultation, and reporting
  • Driving the co-ordination that will see success in the services deliverables
  • Maintaining and building internal client and external partner relationships
  • Actively developing industry networks
  • Perform timely follow up with clear communication
  • Delivering professional customer service to the client in all communication streams
  • Performing administrative duties such as booking confirmations, logging all records of requests and general administration support
  • This role operates on a Monday-Friday roster and encompasses a variety of responsibilities that will provide you with versatility, flexibility, opportunity and will open up multiple career pathways that you may not have yet considered.

  • Qualifications
  • 2-5 years' experience in a corporate or hospitality venue or similar environment
  • Previous stakeholder management experience
  • Knowledge of WH&S principles, food safety and related legislations
  • Experience in front of house service and room set ups
  • Experience in menu planning, costing and control
  • Flexible approach and attitude
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Experience in preparing financial reports desirable
  • Experience in developing marketing plans and strategies desirable
  • Hospitality related qualifications desirable
  • Availability for 7am to 7pm Monday to Friday roster with occasional after hours support
  • Full working rights in Australia
