Environmental Scientist (Consulting) - Contaminated Land We are currently seeking a Environmental Scientist to join our highly respected client's growing Sydney office. You will work on contaminated soil and groundwater investigations, landfill, and environmental remediation projects.

This role will initially focus on environmental monitoring activities across various projects, transitioning into planning, organizing, and supervising fieldwork related to contaminated land assessment and remediation projects. Responsibilities include managing field samples, environmental data, documentation, and report writing under the guidance of senior staff.

We require a high-caliber candidate with strong technical, interpersonal, and communication skills who is looking to pursue a rewarding career in environmental consulting.

Key requirements include : Qualifications in Environmental Science (or environmental engineering or similar).A minimum of 3 years experience in a contaminated land consulting environment, preferably in Sydney, including site supervision of investigations and soil and groundwater sampling methodologies.Sound technical and analytical skills.Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.Attention to detail and a focus on quality.Knowledge of NSW environmental regulatory frameworks.The office is conveniently located near a train station on Sydney's North Shore Line. Candidates residing nearby are preferred to ensure an easy commute, as the employer promotes a healthy work / life balance.
