The Star Brisbane offers a variety of new dining, bars, and unique entertainment options. It also includes a five-star luxury hotel, The Star Grand, and a state-of-the-art Event Centre. This transformational project has brought even more excitement and anticipation to burgeoning Brisbane. It will redefine how people play, shop, and socialise in the river city.

Reporting to our Resort Audio Visual Supervisors this role will see you responsible for the AV production and customer service across The Star Brisbane property. The role offers a hands-on experience with class leading AV technology and significant onsite training in audio, video, and lighting systems. Our AV technicians will play a crucial part in the delivery of Events and Entertainment across the property and the maintenance of all AV assets.

A few of your responsibilities

• Install and support AV production requirements (audio, video and lighting) for all internal and external events
• Set up and install AV production requirements for all entertainment (DJ’s, Duo’s, Bands) on property
• Support property wide audio over IP system for background music and microphone announcements
• Manage all LED screen assets
• Complete maintenance, servicing and replacement of all AV systems on site as required

About you

We are seeking individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment, where no two days are the same. You will have prior experience or exposure to AV systems in a variety of environments. We are looking for individuals that love the AV industry and want to further their careers. Your communication skills will be well rounded as you liaise with external and internal stakeholders in this guest facing role.
