Job Tasks And Responsibilities

In this exciting period of growth, a number of opportunities exist at Moolarben Coal Operations to join our Underground team as an Electrical Tradesperson. Reporting to the Shift Area Leader (Undermanager), your responsibilities will include :

To supervise the installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair of electrical plant and installations at the mineMonitor electrical equipment to ensure it remains in a fit for purpose and safe conditionOperate machinery as part of a multi-skilled workforce

Skills And Experience

ESSENTIAL

Underground Coal Mining experienceHave the appropriate qualifications under the Work Health and Safety (Mines and Petroleum Sites) Regulation 2022 as qualified electrical tradesmanA professional work ethic and the ability to strive for continuous improvementThe ability to work effectively as part of a teamStrong communication, interpersonal and leadership skillsExperience with promoting a positive safety culture within the mineSound planning, organisation and problem-solving skills
