Our ever-growing client is leading the way in the Seafood Wholesaler industry and is EXPANDING their team. Located in North Wollongong, they are seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Admin Officer. Ideally, you will be a self-starter with proficiency and experience in ERP systems and processes within a manufacturing or supply chain environment.

Responsibilities Reporting to the Financial Controller, your duties and responsibilities include : Assist with Payroll – end to endAssist with BAS, Payroll Tax, and superannuation reporting and lodgingMaintain up-to-date records across multiple entitiesAssist with HR functions as requiredPerform daily bank reconciliationsHandle receipting payments including EFTPOS credit card transactionsManage collection of outstanding monies and maintain accurate debtor control to ensure cash flow and compliance with trade credit termsEnsure accurate product costing through data capture, analysis, and interpretation to support business decisions on pricing, margins, and profitabilityManage all aspects of Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable, including invoice entry and reconciliationsAssist with customer service via phone inquiriesRespond to internal and external queriesVerify and process credit applicationsManage debtor and creditor recordsProvide general business and administrative support as requiredPrepare journal entries and maintain the general ledgerReconcile supplier statements monthlyAssist sales and operational staff when requiredAssist the QA manager with all Quality Assurance matters.

Perform general office administration tasks.

Your Profile Skills and Attributes Minimum five years' experience in a similar role or relevant tertiary qualifications with three years' experienceExcellent communication skills across all levels of the businessAbility to use logic and reason to evaluate alternative solutionsStrong computer skills in Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel, and ERP systemsExperience with Greentree ERP software is an advantageAbility to work autonomously, under pressure, and within a teamWillingness to learn new skillsThis is a great team with a positive culture.
