Join a large governmental department as a Policy and Legislation Development Officer. Help shape policies and legislation in a dynamic and impactful role. This 6-12 month contract offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a once-in-a-lifetime reform project. This role is available at APS5 and APS6 level.

• Key Responsibilities include
• Develop policy and legislation.
• Prepare drafting instructions for the new legislative framework.
• Review existing legislation and shape the new framework.
• Support legislation exposure and introduction processes.
• Prepare briefings, reports, and policy papers.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Desirable skills and qualifications include
• Experience in legislative reform and large-scale policy development.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide evidence-based advice.
• Strategic thinking and team-oriented mindset.
• Background in law and / or a degree related to law (not essential but desirable)
