As an Assistant Manager, you will show your leadership and interpersonal strengths to maximize the rooms operations, and ensure an exceptional guest journey.What You Will Be DoingLead and manage all aspects of the front office department and ensure all service standards are followed with friendly and engaging serviceHandle guest concerns and react quickly, tracking and notifying proper areas to guarantee memorable moments for our guestsThe Assistant Manager in the absence of the Rooms Division Manager and or General Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of the hotel across all departmentsDrive loyalty sign ups in line with Accor Hotels regional targets, Hotel specific targets and associated initiativesTaking initiative to ensure that interactions with our guests are positive and productiveProviding guidance, supporting training and leading the Front Office teamAssisting with check-in and check-out of guests, ensuring all procedures are adhered toAssisting other areas of the hotel during peak times when neededBeing responsible for the health and safety of all patrons, guests and staff membersImplementing supporting agreed upon Revenue Management strategies and practicesWork across Mornings, Afternoons and overnights based on hotel operations and demandsQualificationsYour experience and skills include : An ability to make "sparkle moments" to our guests and your natural bright and bubbly customer service style is what sets you apart from the restHave the necessary skills and training for complaint handlingYou are able to manage your time and can handle juggling numerous tasks at once but still able to follow procedure and maintain a high awareness of securityYou have an outcome driven approach to performance and resultsYou have experience with a PMS System, Microsoft Word and OutlookExcellent written and verbal communication skillsUnlimited work rights in AustraliaAdditional InformationIn addition to the opportunity to grow and develop your career potential, we provide duty meals and discounts in over 100 countries with AccorHotels and our partners.We are an inclusive company, and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
