Contribute to our Australia and New Zealand businesses by transforming data into actionable insights that drive actuarial and business evolution.Salary : Competitive salary plus super PLUS annual bonus incentiveSo, what's the job?Reporting to the Chief Underwriting Officer, working across our Australia and New Zealand business.You'll manage the actuarial databases housing data for these processes including quotation, policy issuance and endorsement, assistance and claimsYou'll manage data inconsistencies including finding unexpected changes in base systems and identifying them to data engineersYou'll be conceiving and implementing appropriate data validation and reasonableness checksYou'll be creating, analysing and monitoring all aspects of the business through this data to provide actionable insightsYou'll collaborate with data engineers, analysts and business units to maintain data integrity and support ongoing data improvement initiativesAnd what are we looking for?To be successful in this role -You'll have at least 5+ experienceYou'll have extensive experience working with SQL, RADAR, Emblem and SASYou'll have strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesYou'll have experience in statistical and actuarial modellingYou'll have general insurance actuary with extensive database and data handling knowledge or data scientist with travel insurance experience and understanding of insurance conceptsSo, why choose us?We value optimism, caring, togetherness, reliability and determination.We have more than 2600 employees worldwide : we're a global group of digital specialists, actuaries, marketers, doctors, nurses, case managers, claims specialists, finance experts and customer service professionals.
