- ABOUT THE ROLE
Tasks may include :
- Transport (with the use of your own vehicle);
- Ensuring participants continue to build capacity and participate in meaningful recreational, social, and cultural activities;
- Domestic assistance and mealtime management;
- Mental health support and behaviour management;
- Maintain and monitor person-centered care plans;
- Maintaining thorough records to meet individual goals as in line with their NDIS Plan;
- Adhere to NDIS guidelines including reporting and incident management;
- Build respectful and professional relationships with participants and their families.
- Uphold choice and control and ensure the rights of participants are always maintained.
- Uphold confidentiality and personal boundaries
Shifts range from 2 -10 hours per shift and you can be rostered up to 76 hours per fortnight (depending on availability and suitability). You will be rostered on permanent shifts each week with the opportunity to increase.
- ABOUT YOU
Qualifications & Experience :
- NDIS Worker Screening Check, NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Module;
- Working with Children Check;
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate;
- Current driver's license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle;
- Relevant qualifications or experience relevant to mental health support industry.
