About the role This role is within our Managed Services division, Wastflex, based in Brisbane, reporting to the National Field Sales Manager. It involves managing a local account base in Queensland and supporting national account managers with existing national accounts. Responsibilities include developing call plans for local and national accounts, conducting site audits and risk assessments, and traveling across Queensland to meet clients as needed.
Develop client retention strategies and identify growth opportunities within the portfolio.Manage the contract lifecycle, ensuring all contractual and KPI milestones are achieved.Engage in high-level commercial discussions regarding rates and services, maintaining regular client meetings to foster strong relationships.Stay informed on trends and technologies in the commercial waste and recycling sector.Conduct site audits and risk assessments at customer sites.Experience & skills We seek a seasoned sales or account management professional with resilience, organization, and a passion for customer relationships.
Minimum 5 years' experience in a management role.At least 3 years' experience in the waste industry.Tertiary qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.Innovative problem solver with a focus on continuous improvement.Excellent interpersonal skills.Strong time management and organizational skills.Effective business writing and communication skills.Ability to prioritize demands and adapt to challenging deadlines.Why WSG?
