Future Team Leader - Accounts Payable at Flight Centre Travel Group

Are you ready to take the next step in your finance career by leading a high-performing Accounts Payable team? As the Future Team Leader, you will report directly to the Team Leader and play a vital role in guiding and supporting a dedicated group of Accounts Payable Officers. You'll be part of a dynamic team committed to continuous improvement and delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers.

In this role, you'll :

  • Ensure suppliers are paid accurately and on time.
  • Oversee timely invoicing of chargebacks.
  • Prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and provide clear direction to your team.
  • Hold your team accountable and maintain a strong focus on results.
  • Develop and support team members to help them reach their full potential.
  • Reconcile and analyse financial data with precision.
  • Collaborate closely with our offshore team to achieve shared goals.
  • Manage internal and external escalations efficiently and professionally.

Your experience and skills include :

  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable or Financial Services environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate your team.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for working with numbers.
  • Capability to meet deadlines and perform well under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Lumina software is highly desirable.
  • Experience in the travel industry is a plus.
  • Qualifications or current study towards a Finance degree or related field is preferred.
