Account Manager – Building & Outdoor Materials (Showroom & Client-Facing)
Sydney | $80K + Super + Commission | OTE $140K – $150K | Full-time | Tuesday–Saturday Roster (Rotating Saturdays)

The Opportunity :
Due to ongoing growth, our client is looking for a driven and personable Account Manager to join their Sydney team. Working from their showroom and engaging directly with trade, builder, and retail clients, this role blends face-to-face customer service, design consultation, and proactive account management.
With a mix of in-showroom work and client engagement in the field, this role offers variety and autonomy while being part of a supportive, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities :
- Greet and consult with trade clients, builders, designers, and homeowners in the showroom, guiding them through product selections
- Build strong, long-term relationships with existing accounts while identifying new business opportunities
- Manage client enquiries, prepare quotations, and follow up to drive sales conversion
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and product delivery
- Support showroom presentation, ensuring displays remain visually appealing and up to brand standards
- Conduct site visits or attend client appointments as required
- Maintain CRM records (Netsuite) with accurate reporting of client activity and sales pipeline
- Attend occasional industry events or trade shows to strengthen market presence
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to support promotions, events, and ongoing customer engagement
- Rotate Saturday shifts as part of the showroom team roster
Who We’re Looking For :
Previous experience in account management, showroom sales, or client-facing roles within design, building, or construction sectorsA genuine interest in design, materials, and helping clients bring projects to lifeStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with a consultative sales approachHighly organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple client needs simultaneouslyComfortable working in both a showroom environment and in the fieldCRM experience (Netsuite or similar) is an advantageA current driver’s licence is desirable for site visitsWhat’s On Offer :
