Job description

Symmetric Care is seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Senior Support Workers in Melbourne and surrounding areas. If you have a passion for helping people and believe in creating an inclusive society, then this opportunity is for you!

  • Responsibilities
  • Providing complex care and support to our participants, including those with behaviours of concern
  • Providing personal care including showering, toileting, dressing, and medication administration
  • Manual Handling
  • Performing domestic duties such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Transportation
  • Supporting community engagement activities
  • Behaviour and Mental Health Support

  • Requirements
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates
  • Working with Children Card
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Minimum Cert III in Disability or higher qualification in the relevant field
  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • Full COVID-19 vaccinations (proof from MyGov)
  • Smartphone with iOS 13.0 and up operating system or Android 6.0 and up operating system
