This position reports to the Director of Enrolments and Community Relations. This is a permanent, part-time position of 0.6FTE at 22.5 hours per week. This position will be carried out over 3 days per week. Daily hours will generally be 8am to 4pm (including 30 mins unpaid lunch break).
This position has primary responsibility for building and maintaining a strong working relationship between members of the Wenona community and the School. This role helps to bring together activities which impact on the School's relationships with its external community and includes alumnae engagement, student / parent liaison and community engagement. An integrated approach to these activities is required to ensure that the wider community understands and supports the School's mission.
You will achieve this by providing exceptional customer service to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, including alumnae, the Wenona Parents' Association (WPA), the School's Senior Leadership Team, and other community groups. You will be responsible for the School's reputation in the community, with effective and clear communication, strong event management and administration skills, and an ability to work under pressure.
This position contributes to the strategic planning and delivery of outcomes for the Enrolments and Community Relations Office as part of the overall growth of opportunities for young women today. The position also contributes to the maintenance of a positive internal culture where service, integrity, kindness, and humour are valued.
