  • About us
  • The Australian Human Rights Commission is looking for a Lead Officer, Engagement and Education in their Positive Duty Team at an APS 6 level on an on-going basis.

    DUTIES include :

    2. Develop, update and customise the Commission's online education modules relevant to the positive duty as required.

    3. Develop and update and customise educational resources e.g. factsheets, infographics, community guides and maintain these on the website.

    4. Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, particularly the Commission's Workplace and Community Education Team, in the design, planning, administration and conduct of the Positive Duty team's work and in the development and delivery of the team's identified research and education goals and priorities.

    5. In collaboration with the Positive Duty Team leadership and team members, develop evidence-based education resources that align with, and support the compliance function of the positive duty team and contribute to meaningful

    cultural change in Australian workplaces.

    6. Develop and maintain effective stakeholder networks relevant to the team's priorities.

    7. Assist to design, undertake and manage a range of projects in relation to compliance, research and educative functions of the positive duty team.

    8. Other duties consistent with the above as directed.

    • 1. Demonstrated experience in the development and delivery of education or training programs in an adult learning environment, with a demonstrated understanding of best practice adult learning principles, innovative training programs and the use of online learning technologies with relevant qualifications in education / training.
