The Administrative Officer is accountable to the office for the provision of specialised personal and confidential administrative support to the Student Support Services Assistant Director and Team Manager within the context of a high-quality service delivery to clients of the region.
The role also provides administrative support services to the Student Support Services teams, aboriginal services staff, clients, and stakeholders, contributing and supporting the achievement of region and organisational objectives and goals, and contributes to the delivery and maintenance of efficient work practices within the team.
The Administrative Officer reports to the Office Manager, and works as a member of the administrative team, working closely with other local offices, support services staff, central office, and other Department for Education staff.
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

ASO2 $58,709 - $63,154 per annum (1.0 FTE) + superannuation (11.5%) and leave loading
