  • About the Role
  • We are looking for an Inventory Manager to join our Melbourne Distribution Centre, based in Dandenong South.

    The Inventory Manager is responsible for the effective management and monitoring of all processes that impact inventory integrity, security, and control (including adjustments, cycle counts and stocktakes), and ensuring compliance for dangerous goods and drugs. The incumbent will support the achievement of API's Vision and the Group Supply Chains purpose by managing the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation of the team on a day-to-day basis.

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role includes responsibility for (but is not limited to)
  • Managing stock integrity through regular reporting and analysis, advising on security measures, stock holding methods and cycle counting management
  • Driving improvement in QA processes to reduce pick error rates
  • Processing customer credits by providing expected and agreed service
  • Minimise WKO's with effective planning and slotting
  • Managing excess and discontinued stock
  • Communication with our central Supply Hub for any stock issues and transfers
  • Develop system enhancements and changes to support process improvement
  • Build team capability to ensure team remains engaged and has drive to deliver on strategic and operational plans
  • About you
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a related industry
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Supply Chain or Business qualification preferred
  • Demonstrated communication and relationship management skills, influencing positive business outcomes
