Job descriptionCarry out truck and trailer scheduled servicing, maintenance and inspections Maintain fleet paper trail on servicing, maintenance and repairs Carry out repairs as directed and parts change outs Attend fleet roadside breakdowns Communicate effectively with drivers and plant operators Order parts using order numbers and listed suppliers Maintenance of company vehicles and mechanical aids maintenance schedule and operating manuals / procedures Identify and record deficiencies relating to products and services Strong mechanical aptitude Good problem solving skills Ability to work safely in a regulated environment Mechanical Trade Certification Experience working with Heavy Duty Diesel Equipment Experience in a heavy industry transport or mining environment State of the art & well maintained gear Competitive Remuneration Access to QubeCare our employee well-being program We provide career pathways and development opportunities Committed to promoting workplace diversity Encouraging the next generation Committed to providing a safe work environment for our employees
THE ROLE
We are currently looking for skilled Diesel Motor Mechanic / s to join our team in Port Hedland. The main focus of these roles will be helping keep our modern fleet of Prime movers, earthmoving equipment and all mechanical equipment operational and serviced, maintained and repaired as needed in accordance with requirements.
- Location : Port Hedland
- Roster : 2 / 1 within the Pilbara region (days and night shift)
- Camp & Meals : Yes, we provide various options
- Full Time Salary + paid additional hrs worked outside of 12 hrs
