This department helps to make the lives of all Australians better and is looking for three UX designers focusing on providing technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems.Working in the Melbourne or Brisbane office, you will be involved in all aspects of UX / UI design from workshops to final product delivery.Your daily activities will include : Requirement gathering and evaluationCreation of storyboards, process flows, and sitemapsWireframes and prototypesUser researchEnsuring WCAG compliancePlease note, this role is with a federal government department, so you must be able to obtain a baseline security clearance.This requires you to have Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain this clearance.We are keen to speak with candidates who have : 5+ years UI / UX design experienceStrong wireframing and prototyping skillsGood understanding of WCAG guidelinesExperience with Figma, Sketch, and other industry-standard toolsUser-centered design approachThe successful candidate will be offered a 12-month contract with daily rates based on skills and experience.
