  • THE ROLE
  • The Portfolio Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of all engagements for the assigned accounts, including delivery risks and product / service development.

    Has overall accountability for the successful delivery of all engagements into those accounts.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Engagement Management_
  • Management, coordination and contribution to multiple projects
  • Accountable for project planning, resourcing and scheduling of their assigned engagements and provide support to Business Operations for delivery planning of other engagements
  • Provide leadership to internal and external teams, assist teams as required with the delivery of services
  • Be the 'go to' person for staff and customer delivery issues
  • Manage operational reporting processes for the Business Ops team
  • Ensure services and product delivery to clients meets client's expectations and adhere to Ampion delivery requirements
  • Provide guidance on delivery methods
  • Provide feedback to Engagement Lead regarding team performance
  • Perform quality assurance for engagement deliverables (with assistance from Principals and Capability Leads)
  • Ensure risk management is in place and applied to the delivery of engagements
  • Build CISO / CXO level relationships and leverage those and other relationships to grow the CRS footprint
  • Understand the financials of all engagements within their strategic account, and drive profitability and margins
  • Partners closely with GAE, Sales, and Practice Managers and Practice Leads
  • Sales Renewals_
  • Identify new pre-sales activities within those accounts for the development of new opportunities
  • Engage with client project teams to assist with development of long-term relationships of client staff
  • Assist with account planning
  • Attend marketing events and engage with attendees and / or provide presentations on behalf of Ampion
  • Facilitate peer review on deliverables and services to confirm that engagement deliverables are being met
  • Maintaining and expanding relationships inside accounts where the sales leads are warm and in-bound.
  • Work to identify opportunities to extend or expand upon in flight opportunities
  • First point of contact for client stakeholders for issues related to billing, statements of work, resourcing, and delivery escalations for inflight engagements
  • Manage commercial aspects of extending and expanding upon existing engagements
  • Forecasting opportunities and maintaining an up to date sales pipeline
  • Working with the broader account team to provide updates and visibility of opportunities uncovered
  • Team Leadership_
  • Provide guidance and coaching to delivery staff on your strategic account as and when required
  • Contribute to the development of internal processes and delivery methods
  • Provide input for operational reporting (engagement and people performance)
  • Perform account planning and execution
  • Provide feedback to consultants who are involved in your strategic account
  • Represent Ampion in all public and client environments
  • ABOUT YOU
  • Experience leading large teams and programs for delivery of technical outcomes
  • Agile delivery lead experience
  • Experience providing support for teams in excess of 20 staff
  • Experience in managing outcomes and / or capabilities within large enterprise environments
  • Two years' experience working with tier one organisations and / or Government
  • Experience with project coordination activities including :
  • o Project planning
  • o Resourcing / scheduling
  • o Budgeting / forecasting
  • o Team / stakeholder engagement.
