Senior Business Analyst

Seeking a Senior Business Analyst with experience working in large government organisations.

Key duties and responsibilities

The Specified Personnel will be responsible for providing the following deliverables including but not limited to :

• Reviewing and guiding implementation of improved and integrated business and operations, including Information Technology Service Management (ITSM), processes and procedures to align to departmental policy and enterprise ICT practices;
• Updating, organising and documenting processes, procedures and other knowledge;
• Consulting and co-operating closely with executive level and technical staff in support of change implementation;
• Organising, facilitating and co-facilitating meetings and workshops to develop improved business processes;
• Building processes, procedures and other knowledge in the Content Manager Total Record and Information Management system and the ServiceNow ITSM tool suite deployed on the Australian SECRET Network;
• Managing multiple tasks with competing priorities and deadlines;

The Specified Personnel will be responsible for producing the following deliverables, including but not limited to :

Business Operations workflows;

Contract : 12 Months Contract with 2 x 12 months contract extension.

Security Required : Must have a NV1 Security Clearance.

Location  - Canberra -  Hybrid - Successful applicant must work at least 5 of 10 days on site. Flexible working arrangements will be considered, subject to approval per the Department’s operational needs and ICT Contractor Working from Home Guidelines.
