The Key Account Manager O&G is responsible for managing O&G sales for a defined territory, developing and identifying new market opportunities, funnel management, CRM, and driving sales including planning, budget maintenance / reporting, business development. The incumbent will be responsible in maximizing the business-related income, growth, and opportunities, from new & existing accounts
This position is part of the Pall Industrial Fluid Technology Asset Protection business and will be located in Perth, Western Australia.
- In this role, you will be responsible for
- Sales Revenue - 30%
- Commit to Time in the Field in order to assess market conditions and customer sentiment.
- Engage with customer organizations to create strategic relationships and generate incremental sales opportunities.
- Coordinate regular information sessions for customers as required.
- Achieve all sales projections and targets.
- Develop & maintain competitor profiles.
- Formulate and agree on annual sales projections with Sales Manager FT - ANZ.
- Communicate variations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Frequently interrogate systems, plans, and reports to verify accuracy and tracking.
- Business Development - 50%
- Establish and build customer relationships.
- Review & manage Sales related Plan and activities for the Territory (monitor KPIs).
- Lead the development, growth and retention of key and target accounts.
- Prepare or oversee technical / commercial position statements, bids and tenders
- Reporting / Business Management - 10%
- Participate in weekly reviews of call plans, sales activity reports, funnel Management and performance against KPI's using CRM.
- Provide reports in summary or detail as required by Sales Manager FT - ANZ, or other senior management.
- Evaluate commercial criticality of projects and relationships, making corrective adjustments as warranted.
- Analyse sales performance via corporate reports and make timely, corrective actions where necessary.
- Technical Product & Market Knowledge - 10%
- Maintain knowledge of macroeconomic trends, market sector conditions and customer company activities
- Maintain knowledge of competitor products and services.
- Safety & Compliance - At all times

- The essential requirements of the job include
- Extensive sales experience and well connected in the Oil & Gas (O&G) sector within West Australia region
- Possess a Hunter mindset
- Understands and knowledge of funnel management and CRM Salesforce (SFDC)
- Extensive O&G process knowledge
- Comfortable with travelling within Northern region and Western Australia around 50% of the time
- It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in
- MS Suites (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Representing the organization at technical trade / conferences / exhibition
- Experience in coordinating bid processes to develop customer solutions proposal
