Emergency Medicine Registrar

The Role :

A terrific opportunity for an ED Registrar on a Permanent Full Time basis. You will be working in a fantastic multidisciplinary team under the guidance of brilliant FACEMs, offering support and care for all patients within the Emergency Department.

The Facility :

The largest hospital in the southern region, serving residents of Adelaide's southern metropolitan area.  Since its establishment in 1976, this hospital has garnered global recognition as one of Australia's premier public teaching hospitals and a hub for cutting-edge research. With a dedicated team of over 5,000 skilled professionals, it offers a comprehensive array of medical services for patients spanning all age groups. Notably, it stands as one of the state's two major trauma centers, equipped with a 24 / 7 emergency retrieval service ensuring rapid transportation of patients via road or helicopter.

The Requirements

One or more of the following :

• Possess at least 12 months recent experience in Emergency Medicine
• Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
• Eligible for either the Standard pathway, Competent Authority, Short Term Training Pathway or Specialist Pathway.
• All IMG's who have completed AMC MCQ 1 and eligible for the Standard Pathway.
• Those IMG's who are working in the UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ and eligible for the Competent Authority Pathway.
• IMG's who are either a Specialist in the home country or within a year of obtaining their Specialist qualification and eligible for the Short Term Training Pathway.
• IMG's who have lodged their Specialist Assessment Application with ACEM, awaiting their ACEM interview, or who have been as sessed by ACEM and found to be partially or substantially comparable.
