Cater Care Services are seeking an experienced Handyperson with some utility knowledge to join our remote mining villages. You will be required to complete non-trade handyperson duties as well as assist the broader utility team where required.
Handyperson duties - replacing locks / door handles / washers and general camp maintenance
Common area cleaning - emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning
Utility duties - helping out in our utility departments (housekeeping, kitchen hand, dining room, bar and retail)
Load / unload truck on delivery day
Gardening & grounds work
Current Australian driver's license
Forklift license (highly desirable)
National Police Clearance within 6 months
Previous experience as a handyperson
Ability to work well with other team members
Motivated, enthusiastic and positive 'can-do' attitude
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to pass a pre employment medical + drug & alcohol screening
Physically fit and able to work long hours with repetitive tasks
Ability to work in varying degrees of heat, cold, humidity & inclement weather
