How you will contribute
We are currently seeking an experienced Graduate Accountant to join our HR Products division in Canning Vale on a full-time basis.
Reporting to the Finance Manager you will support our finance team with a wide range of responsibilities spanning financial reporting system improvements inventory analysis and cross-functional collaboration.
Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to;
- Responsible for cash allocation and maintaining customer accounts.
- Strong involvement in Accounts Receivable functions accurately recording customer payments and creating customer credit notes.
- Support month-end close budgeting forecasting and weekly reporting by coordinating with finance and shared services teams.
- Ensure accuracy of the General Ledger particularly inventory and manufacturing variance accounts and complete timely reconciliations (e.g. WIP PPV freight revaluations).
- Conduct inventory and cost analysis monitoring obsolescence risk inventory turns and logistics or labour costs to identify savings
- Assist in audit preparation ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies and support insurance renewals.
- Collaborate with IT and finance teams to drive process improvements including automation of cash allocation (Blackline) and ERP (QAD) enhancements.
- Create and deliver financial reports and dashboards translating key insights for non-financial stakeholders and supporting operational decision-making.
