Business Development Manager | Victoria

Join one of the automotive industry's most respected brands and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of fleet sales in Victoria. We're seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute Business Development Manager to drive growth across the corporate and business fleet strategy.

The Opportunity

As part of our state-based team, you'll be responsible for executing strategic initiatives that support our national fleet objectives and deliver measurable growth across the Victorian dealer network. This position offers the chance to make a lasting impact through high-level engagement with corporate customers and dealer partners.

This is a full-time, office-based role that requires regular travel throughout Victoria to maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive fleet sales performance across Business, Corporate, and Rental channels in alignment with national strategy.
  • Identify new business opportunities and convert leads through direct engagement with senior executives and procurement teams.
  • Support dealer partners with pricing, proposal development, and end-to-end fleet program execution.
  • Lead and contribute to high-value tender submissions.
  • Manage the performance and compliance of national fleet programs within the Victorian market.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with national and state teams on stock allocation, pricing, and customer solutions.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and oversee the timely processing of fleet program claims and documentation.

About You

With a strong background in fleet and business development within the automotive OR supply chain / logistics sector, you bring a customer-first mindset and a proven track record of delivering results in complex, relationship-driven environments.

You'll bring :

  • Demonstrated success in a business development or fleet sales role, ideally within a major automotive group.
  • Strong knowledge of fleet finance solutions and sales operations.
  • High-level communication and negotiation skills, with confidence engaging C-suite decision-makers.
  • Experience in managing tender processes and developing tailored fleet proposals.
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to analyse and respond to market dynamics.
  • A proactive, collaborative approach to stakeholder management and internal coordination.
