Based out of Wollongong (with flexibility for Sydney base), we are seeking a professional to join our high performing and diverse local Geotechnical team.

Our team is unique in its exposure to a range of diverse projects across civil, mining, and quarrying sectors. We believe that the diversity of our projects and exposure to new challenges makes for the best engineers and brings out the best in our team.

Our NSW geotechnics hub is based in Wollongong at the University of Wollongong's Innovation campus, a place where our key team members have chosen to live and work for an exceptional lifestyle without compromising their professional aspirations. With 30+ staff, our local team is technically diverse, ranging from Graduates to Technical Directors. Our Geotechnics team is one of the highest performing teams in our business, and they are friendly, supportive, and celebrate successes together.

4-7+ years' hands-on experience in Engineering GeologyTertiary qualifications in Geology, Engineering Geology, or Geotechnical EngineeringExperience in the Consulting industry with aspirations to develop further in this sectorAbility to work in the field and interest in developing technical skillsDemonstrated technical autonomy across sectorsA team player with a collaborative spiritCreative, lateral thinking, and problem-solving skillsDedication to quality work and proven report writing skillsOur Benefits At SLR, our people come first.
