Job Description : Plant Mechanic at PSG

Your new role as the Plant Mechanic for PSG will be reporting to the PSG Supervisor.

About PSG

PSG is a FIFO service department in Welshpool, supporting WA with skilled maintenance personnel. We handle warranty support, shutdowns, and labour hire roles, equipped with service vehicles and tools.

Location : FIFO

Roster :

7 Days On, 7 Nights On, and 14 Days Off (12.5 hr shifts, including a 30-minute unpaid meal break)

Responsibilities :

  • Complete rebuilds and component change outs on Caterpillar heavy earthmoving equipment
  • Work on equipment including D10 and D11 Dozers, 992 Wheel Loaders, 24M Graders, and various Off Highway Trucks (777F – 793F)

Skills & Experience :

  • Ability to work night shifts, additional hours, and weekends / extra days as required
  • Heavy Vehicle or Plant Mechanic Trade Qualification
  • Experience with C175 CAT Engines is highly regarded
  • Caterpillar product knowledge, especially component change outs
  • Experience with Caterpillar Systems (ET, SIS, VIMS) is desirable
  • Commitment to safety and quality work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
