About The Role

We're seeking a flexible, experienced, and proactive Relief Village Manager to ensure continuity of leadership and care across our retirement villages. You will step into the role of Village Manager or Sales Manager in their absence, ensuring operations run smoothly, residents feel supported, and villages remain compliant, welcoming, and engaging.

You will step into the role of Village Manager or Sales Manager in their absence, ensuring operations run smoothly, residents feel supported, and villages remain compliant, welcoming, and engaging.

As the first point of contact for residents and staff during relief periods, you'll provide trusted leadership, uphold high service standards, and contribute to the well-being and vibrancy of our communities.

Key Responsibilities

Village Operations & Compliance

Undertake detailed operational handovers at each siteManage daily operations, staff supervision, and unit transitionsCoordinate village maintenance and liaise with service teamsPromote and refer in-home care services where neededUphold all regulatory, policy, and reporting obligations

Resident Engagement & Relationship Management

Foster strong, respectful relationships with residents and committeesAddress concerns with empathy and fairnessFacilitate social programs, monthly meetings, and lifestyle eventsSupport resident wellbeing through proactive check-ins and referrals

Sales & Occupancy Support

Step in for the Sales Manager when requiredConduct tours and consultations for prospective residents and familiesSupport onboarding of new residents and ensure smooth transitionsCollaborate with Marketing to maintain occupancy targets

Community & Lifestyle Leadership

Develop inter-village partnerships and community engagement strategiesCoordinate a calendar of events to build connection and inclusionGather resident feedback and implement lifestyle improvements

Financial Oversight

Assist with budgeting, capital works planning, and financial reportingMonitor village costs, billing processes, and audit readinessContribute to strategic cost-efficiency initiatives

Continuous Improvement & Projects

Identify and lead service improvements through feedback analysisSupport infrastructure upgrades and strategic projectsImplement positive change management across village sites

What We're Looking For

Skills & Experience

Prior leadership experience in Retirement Living, Community Housing, or Aged CareStrong customer service ethos and conflict resolution skillsDemonstrated capacity to juggle complex, competing prioritiesExperience with budgeting, audits, and compliance reportingExcellent communication, planning, and team management abilityProficient in Microsoft Office and digital reporting systems

Adaptable, calm under pressure, and solution-focusedCommitted to empowering older people to age positively in placeA confident facilitator with empathy, patience, and integrity

Essential Requirements

Current Western Australian C Class Driver's LicenceNational Police Clearance (issued within 6 months) or valid NDIS Worker Screening CheckSenior First Aid CertificateProof of current COVID-19 and Influenza VaccinationsSuccessful completion of a pre-employment medical & reference check
