Clearance : NV1 or NV2 (as specified)

Contract Type : Full-Time, Onsite, 12 months

Sector : Defence / Intelligence Capability

Positions Available : 4 roles across DSS Level 3 and Level 4

About the Opportunity

CAPDA is currently working on multiple opportunities for experienced procurement and contracting professionals to support a range of capability programs across a Defence portfolio.

This centralised team will provide expert advice and hands-on support in procurement methodologies, contracting strategies, and tender development, working closely with Commonwealth staff to deliver high-quality, compliant outcomes in a complex and fast-paced environment.

Roles Available

1 x Level 4 – Expert (NV2 clearance required)
3 x Level 3 – Advanced Practitioners (NV1 clearance required)

Key Responsibilities

Advise on procurement strategies and contracting options.

Lead and support the development of tender documentation.

Ensure alignment with Commonwealth procurement frameworks and Defence policies.

Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple capability areas.

Provide surge support or backfill coverage as required.

What You Bring

8 + years of Proven experience in Commonwealth or Defence procurement environments.

Strong understanding of procurement lifecycles, tendering, and contracting.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

NV1 or NV2 security clearance (as applicable to the role).

Rates outlined are across both DSS levels. Remuneration will align with the relevant DSS levels and will be determined based on the candidate’s skills, experience, and overall suitability for the role.
