The OpportunityThe Management Accountant is part of the Pacific Finance team, reporting to the Financial Planning and Analysis Controller. This role has accountability for the financial performance management of the Pacific business and providing monthly financial management reporting to the APAC team.
- The Role
- Support in the delivery of approved budgets and forecasts through effective month end review and performance reporting.
- Manage the delivery of month end process, this includes; consolidated financial reporting, analysis and insights to relevant internal stakeholders working closely with the Financial Controller.
- Support the delivery of financial analysis and business insights by reporting on external business drivers and reporting on financial KPIs.
- Assist with product / customer profitability models to drive more accurate forecasting, accountability, and better understanding of business performance trends.
- Support with the delivery of performance reporting to the APAC team, including taking ownership of deliverables relating to Year End, Half Year End within agreed format and timelines.
- Ensure adequate and effective controls are in place to maintain integrity of financial data and reporting.
- In conjunction with the Financial Controller assist project teams to develop project reporting frameworks, provide commercial assistance and advice for business cases.
- Build and enhance forecast modelling tools and management reporting dashboards to explain business performance and assist Leadership in business decision making.
- Establish and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, internal peers, and external partners.
- Collaborate and be seen as a trusted adviser to your business, delivering relevant, accurate and timely financial insights.
- To be successful in this role you will require

- High degree of commercial acumen

- 3-5 years management accounting experience
- Working towards a CA / CPA qualification highly regarded
