Join our diverse team as we embark on our roadmap to strengthen Macquarie Group's security capability. As a security professional, your key role will be to deliver complex offensive security engagements and contribute to Macquarie's security practices on a tactical and strategic level.

While Macquarie offers hybrid working for many of our roles, this role does require 3 days a week in one of our ANZ office locations.

What role will you play?

You will be responsible for designing, scoping and executing penetration tests and supporting red and purple team engagements on evaluating findings, reporting, and providing remediation advisory. You will also work on security testing process improvements, as well as coach and mentor junior team members.

What You Offer

Strong hands-on experience in either security testing or software developmentSound theoretical background in offensive security subjects, such as web application security, mobile security, infrastructure (including cloud and containers) securityA willingness to learn, discover and apply the latest offensive security tactics, techniques and proceduresAbility to do a thorough analysis and strive to find the root causes behind vulnerabilitiesGood verbal and written communication skills to convey technical insights to technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level executivesExperience in overseeing projects or prior managerial experience is valuablePractical certifications such as OSCP, OSCE, OSWE, CPTS, CCT / CRT, BSCP and experience working with regulatory frameworks such as CORIE, STAR-FS is an advantage.
