    Become a part of our international Sales & Business Development team at one of our locations in Brisbane, Australia. For the next possible date we are looking for you in fulltime (40h / week) as Customer Service Officer

    • Your tasks and responsibilities
    • Responsible for providing full support to the Management and Sales teams and guidance to the Operations departments for both general
    • and project-based clientele
    • Ensure the departments operate profitably, move cargo on time and to specifications by assisting with the organisation of contractors, agents, clients, etc and provide information to management as so instructed
    • Manage general cargo rate enquiries from deugro´s eisting client base as well as agent / office network
    • Communicate with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
    • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls
    • Ensure comprehensive and up-to-date data is recorded and processed in deugro's CRM platform in accordance with company procedures
    • What you can contribute
    • Minimum of two years' experience in a freight forwarding role
    • Good understanding of pricing strategies, key and contractual terms and conditions
    • These qualities characterize you : analytical, assertiveness,
    • Excellent communications and presentation skills (Cross-Functional and Cross-Cultural)
    • Experience in Cargo Wise preferred
    • Ability to hold client meeting both via teams and in person
    • Able to recognize new opportunities and offer solutions
