Are you a compassionate, skilled professional with a passion for providing high-quality care to individuals with complex medical and disability needs? We are seeking Disability Support Workers for casual employment under SCHADS. While initially employment is casual, hours offered will be regular and upwards of 20+ / week. Future permanent employment may be available as we are seeking long term stability for care.
The adult you will be working with requires 24 / 7 support, including awake overnight shifts, and a holistic team approach to managing his daily life.
Key Requirements
- Mental health training or lived experience in mental health care is highly desirable.
- Experience in manual handling with hoist transfers is essential.
- A genuine understanding of professional boundaries and the ability to maintain them in all interactions.
- Need to have NDIS Worker Screening Check, NDIS orientation module certificate, First Aid & CPR and current drivers licence.
