About the role

We’re seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our Canberra-based team in a full-time, permanent capacity. You’ll be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest standards.

This role is ideal for someone with 5+ years’ experience supervising commercial construction projects valued at $20M+, who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

What you'll be doing

Lead and coordinate daily site operations to meet project timelines and quality benchmarks.

Monitor site safety, compliance, and risk management.

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication.

Supervise construction teams, providing clear direction and support.

Ensure adherence to Australian building codes, regulations, and company policies.

Track and report on project progress, costs, and changes.

Foster a safe, positive, and productive work environment.

Collaborate closely with the Project Manager and Senior Construction Manager to drive successful outcomes.

What we're looking for

Extensive experience as a Site Supervisor or equivalent role in the construction industry

Strong technical knowledge of construction processes, materials, and equipment

Demonstrated success in delivering defect-free projects

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders

Proficiency in MS Project and MS Office Suite.

Thorough understanding of workplace health and safety regulations

Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field

Relevant tertiary or trade background will be highly regarded
