Weighbridge & Livestock Logistics Officer

Your Employer Our client operates a premier Wagyu beef production facility with a capacity of 17,000 head of cattle. As part of a vertically integrated supply chain, they prioritize animal welfare, sustainability, and the production of premium quality beef under the ownership of a leading international agribusiness.The Role Our client is looking for a reliable and motivated Administration & Weighbridge Operator to join their close-knit feedlot operations team. In this full-time position, you'll be responsible for supporting daily livestock administration, coordinating weighbridge activities, and helping maintain smooth dispatch and delivery processes. Key Responsibilities Operate the weighbridge and manage incoming / outgoing truck logistics Process livestock arrivals, inductions, and exits using internal systems Assist with commodity testing and basic feed scheduling Maintain livestock data in traceability and planning systems (8-mil) Support reception duties and general admin tasks across the site About You Strong attention to detail and time management Willingness to learn and take ownership of your role Comfortable with early starts (7 : 00am), Monday to Friday Basic knowledge of livestock / agriculture Previous experience in feedlot or weighbridge operations (Desirable) Benefits Full-time role | 76 hours per fortnight Standard hours : 7 : 00am – 3 : 00pm (M–F) Optional flexibility : 9 : 30am to 5 : 30pm two days a week (as required by weighbridge schedules) Supportive management and thorough training provided Opportunity for long-term career development in agri-business Choose Agri TalentAgri Talent provides permanent recruitment and executive search services exclusively for Australian agribusiness.
