Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Quantity Surveying
Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Quantity Surveying to join School of Architecture and Built Environment, Faculty of Engineering.
The position will contribute to postgraduate and undergraduate teaching including teaching in the highly successful Bachelor of Built Environment (Honours) (Construction Management and Quantity Surveying), where QUT is known for industry connections, real-world application of theory and evidence-based practice. The successful incumbent will have a record of teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate courses and bring strength to all aspects of quality teaching, including conceptualising, designing, delivering and reviewing curricula. Teaching areas of particular interest include – but are not limited to – methods of measurement, contract administration, and cost planning and control.The successful candidate will also provide high-impact research outcomes, delivered in collaboration with researchers across the School, Faculty and the University and with external partners in government and industry.
