    Where a non-ongoing specified term is offered, this would be for an initial period of up to 12 months, with possibility of extension up to a maximum period of two years.

    A non-ongoing offer may result in conversion to an ongoing offer of employment, however this must occur within 18 months from the opening date of this advertisement.

  • Who we are
  • The Information Services Division (ISD) is responsible for the secure provision and support of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) services to PM&C and its ICT shared service clients. ISD has various board and committees which provide assurance and advice around ICT delivery and performance. These include the ICT Program Management Board (IPMB), Enterprise Design and Architecture Committee (EDAC), the Change Advisory Board (CAB), as well as three recently established boards which support the delivery of PM&C's Cyber Uplift Program.

    ISD is centralising the administration of its various ICT boards and committees and is seeking highly motivated individuals to join our high calibre, friendly and supportive teams to support the associated governance functions.

  • What you will do
  • The Governance Support Officer will work with the Senior Governance Support Officer to provide secretariat and coordination support and services for various boards and committees across the Information Services Division. You may also be required to handle sensitive information in accordance with the relevant polices and APS standards.

    The key duties of the position include :

  • Perform secretariat activities and services for various ICT boards and committees in ISD, including coordinating meeting preparation activities, preparing board packs and materials, managing meeting bookings and attendance, and taking formal meeting Minutes.
  • Draft high-quality and accurate written communication materials and visual presentations using Microsoft Office software.
  • Plan and prioritise work, be flexible to changing business priorities, and act as an escalation point for related matters of concern.
  • Initiate, build and maintain strong, productive working relationships with stakeholders across internal and external networks.
  • What you will bring
  • Demonstrated experience providing secretariat support to a government board or committee or a willingness to learn.
  • Strong organisation skills, ability to manage competing priorities and respond to changing requirements.
  • Ability to prepare high quality communication materials, including formal Minutes, board papers and briefs, tailored to stakeholders working at varying levels, including senior executive audiences.
  • Ability to show high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage competing priorities under tight timeframes.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a diverse team.
  • Demonstrated experience developing strong working relationships with stakeholders.
