Your Role

Joining IAG Group People Performance & Reputation Safety & Wellbeing, the purpose of your role is to lead the design, development, and execute on the Psychological Health and Safety Strategy and initiatives that manage psychosocial risks and foster healthy working environments. You'll partner with business and Centre of Excellence (COE) teams to identify priorities and drive psychological health and safety programs to completion. This role also contributes to the integrated wellbeing, psychological health, and safety program across IAG.

You'll support subject matter experts in addressing employee psychosocial concerns such as change management, fatigue, mental health, family violence, bullying, harassment, discrimination, and suicidality. Leading and managing health and wellbeing projects, you'll research external benchmarks and analyse health and safety data to identify and mitigate risks. Your insights will inform robust strategies and initiatives aligned with organisational goals.

Building strong relationships with Human Resources, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), and other stakeholders, you'll deliver effective health and wellbeing solutions. You'll raise awareness through learning activities, communicate data clearly to drive engagement, and enable managers and employees to access relevant resources. In collaboration with the entire Safety & Wellbeing team, your role will enable the business to deliver on broader IAG goals.

About You

Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Organisational Psychology (minimum four years) are essential. Postgraduate qualifications or further professional development in a relevant discipline are highly regarded. Minimum of five years' experience in workplace mental health, wellbeing, or psychological health and safety roles. Proven expertise in identifying and addressing psychosocial risks within complex organisational environments. Experience designing and delivering evidence-based wellbeing strategies and psychological safety programs. Accreditation or training in relevant frameworks, tools, or methodologies (e.g., mental health first aid, risk assessment, trauma-informed practice) is desirable.
