  • The Role

Reporting to the Johns Lyng Group State Manager, you will utilise your exceptional organisational, communication and relationship building skills to manage the day-to-day operations of the team. This position reflects the benchmark in expertise, leadership, client and customer engagement and satisfaction for the Group.

  • Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow a team of motivated individuals
  • Implement & deliver against tangible business strategies
  • Look for new business opportunities and manage growth
  • Maintain & develop a consistent team culture, ensuring top staff remain focused
  • Maintain a business operation which minimises risk & exposure to bad debt & job rectification costs
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder expectations
  • Identify & promote career progression opportunities for team members
  • Be engaged & supportive of wider Group goals, strategy & direction
  • Ensure all WH&S requirements are adhered to as prescribed by Legislation & the Johns Lyng Group
  • Key Selection Criteria
  • Do you have proven examples of demonstrating drive and energy? Are you extremely motivated and can think outside the box?   • Ability to lead, motivate and grow a team
  • Construction or Building Trade background highly regarded
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple & competing priorities
  • Ability to be empathetic to the needs of the client
  • Excellent organisational skills & attention to detail
  • Sound work ethic
  • Computer literacy
  • Current motor vehicle licence
