Position Details

Brass Tutor – Trumpet and Trombone

The College is seeking expressions of interest for a suitably qualified brass tutor (trumpet and trombone) to provide services on a contractor basis commencing Term 3, 2025. Please note this is not an employment position – the successful applicant will be engaged as an independent contractor and must have an ABN and relevant insurances.

Selection Criteria

Ability to teach trumpet and trombone.Delivers engaging and individualised lessons to students across Yrs 7-12.Fosters a positive learning environment that inspires students to succeed.Creates and maintains rapport with students.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Prepares students for performances and exams.

Qualifications Required

Terms of Employment

Hold a current National Police ClearanceHold a current Working with Children Check (WWC)Annually complete Child Protection Procedures and Mandatory Reporting Training

Highly Desirable

A degree in MusicPrior experience in a similar role
