About the Opportunity

The Senior Behaviour Support Practitioner supervises a small team of Behaviour Support Practitioners / Behaviour Therapists whilst continuing to conduct assessments, write behavioural support plans and programs, and assist with the implementation of plans. This role allows you to work in a person-centred approach using the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis and Positive Behaviour Support. We engage with people across the lifespan in the home, community, and school / workplace settings providing varied mediums of engagement. This role really allows both your clinical and leadership skills to flourish.

The Opportunity Involves

• Develop Functional Behavioural Assessments and Behaviour Analysis Support Plans.
• Provide direct behavioural interventions in individual and group sessions after assessment and diagnosis.
• Provide training, support and clinical supervision of Behaviour Support Practitioners / Behaviour Therapists.
• Use behavioural, psychological and evidence-based theories to develop and implement program designs and interventions.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with all key stakeholders.
• Adhere to NDIS quality and safeguard commission requirements.

The Essentials

• Bachelor's degree or post graduate qualifications related to Positive Behaviour Support e.g. Psychology.
• Minimum of three years' experience demonstrating provision of positive behaviour support services.
• Demonstrated and effective time management skills including the ability to manage multiple competing priorities set in a fast-paced environment.
• High level of oral and written communication skills including the demonstrated ability to prepare and finalise technical reports.
• Compliance checks including the NDIS Workers Screening Check, National Criminal History Check and any relevant State-issued WWCC / WWVP cards.
• COVID19 Vaccination Digital Certificate, inclusive of mandated booster vaccinations as directed by State Government and NDIS mandates.
• Valid Driver Licence.
