This role manages direct and indirect deals by leveraging partners and drives sales for the assigned industry through the channel to fulfill customer needs.

This role manages direct and indirect deals by leveraging partners and drives sales for the assigned industry through the channel to fulfill customer needs.

The individual leads the selling process in collaboration with channel partners, engages appropriate resources from Autodesk, hunts new business and closes deals while executing strong business practices.ResponsibilitiesAchieve assigned sales budgets and provide regular forecasts for assigned industry and territory and / or resellers utilizing CRM as required by Sales ManagementTarget key accounts and prospects within a defined sales territory by industry, geography, or product group.

Key accounts are defined by the manager and agreed upon between the manager and employeeDevelop and execute a business plan to maximize opportunities to achieve sales budgets and key objectives within defined industry and geographic territoryProvide leadership, training, and serve as an ongoing resource to improve local resellers' skill set to drive key sales objectivesEstablish effective long-term customer relationships, working with all levels within the accountLeverage chosen sales processes, tools and methodologiesCoordinate internal resources with representatives from pre-sales, and / or other internal organizationsDevelop Industry sector knowledgeSupport all Autodesk strategic plans and marketing campaignsTake the lead in actively driving all potential opportunities where resellers lack or require a higher level of capabilityMinimum QualificationsWe are ideally looking for candidates with AEC industry experience (or cloud-based construction experience), +5 years of BD or direct selling experience in a matrix organisation, demonstrated success in building pipeline and closing deals from that pipelineLearn MoreAbout AutodeskWelcome to Autodesk!
