  • In this role you will be able to -
  • Lead and manage a team of environmental consultants, ensuring the delivery of high-quality environmental solutions and services
  • Provide expert guidance and strategic direction to clients on environmental issues, regulations, and compliance
  • Conduct thorough environmental assessments, impact studies, and audits to identify potential risks and recommend effective mitigation measures
  • Develop and implement sustainable environmental management plans and strategies
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, government agencies, and stakeholders
  • Stay updated with current environmental trends, policies, and regulations to ensure compliance and inform decision-making
  • Mentor and develop junior staff members, fostering their growth and expertise
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering innovative and cost-effective environmental solutions
  • Relevant Education, Experience, and Skills -
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Proven experience (minimum of 8 years) in environmental consulting, with a focus on managing complex projects
  • Demonstrated expertise in environmental impact assessments, risk management, and compliance
  • Strong knowledge of Australian environmental legislation, policies, and standards
  • Exceptional project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex environmental concepts to diverse stakeholders
  • Leadership qualities, with experience in managing and motivating teams
  • Professional certifications (e.g., Certified Environmental Practitioner) will be highly regarded
