MR / HR Drivers and operators needed

10 Year Sydney Water construction program in the western suburbs, advancement opportunities
The Opportunity

Due to a pipeline of new projects, the Sydney Water West Region Delivery Team is recruiting again. We have a 10 year infrastructure construction program (into its 2nd year) in the western suburbs, we are constructing critical infrastructure for our communities.

We are employing experienced and competent

Plant Operators and MR / HR Drivers,

to join our construction team. Permanent full time roles for Sydney residents, No FIFO or DIDO available.

You will be Responsible for

You will primarily be responsible for the safe and productive operation of a near new and well-maintained plant, in a utilities construction environment (pipelines, pump stations, water treatment plants, filtration plants).

What we need from you?

Ideally you will have experience in the utilities sectors with exposure to linear infrastructure / networks and / or water treatment infrastructure.

Experience and willingness to work on small and large projects of varying complexity

Strong demonstrated skills in plant operation. You will have white card and appropriate tickets, 2 years plus experience; you will need to pass our VOC.

An understanding of levels, civil methodologies and standards

A clean HR / MR truck license is required for the driving roles

Good on-site problem solving expertise

At least 2 contactable referees
