- Responsibilities
As EL 1 Policy and Program Officer you will play an essential role in the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and programs. Your responsibilities include but not limited to :
Developing policies that align with the government's objectives, priorities, and legislation. Analyze research and data to identify policy options, assess their potential impact, and make recommendations to senior management.Design and implement programs that support the government's policies. Develop program objectives, performance indicators, and implementation plans, and work with stakeholders to ensure that programs are delivered effectively.Monitor progress, and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.Engage with stakeholders, including government agencies, industry groups, and community organizations, to gather input and build support for policies and programs.Evaluate policies and programs to assess their effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.Overall, an EL 1 Policy and Program Officer plays a critical role in shaping the direction of government policies and programs, ensuring that they align with the government's objectives and deliver benefits to the community.
