Fun Club Coordinator

You will be providing quality care and education to school-aged children while incorporating your ideas and expertise to create a fun-filled environment. You will be building on an inclusive out-of-school care service, and encouraging a diverse range of additional needs and disabled children to succeed. You will have the ability to create respectful and long-lasting relationships with parents and carers, as well as your fellow educators. As the leader of Bingara Gorge Fun Club, you will be responsible for ensuring the service complies with Big Fat Smile policies and procedures and all components of the National Quality Framework and Child Protection Legislation.

This is an opportunity for you to grow in a supportive and inclusive workplace. If you have prior experience as a support worker, SLSO, OOSH Educator / 2IC, or engagement with additional needs and disabled children, we would love to hear from you!

What you need to succeed

• A cleared valid for paid work, Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Experience as a support worker, SLSO, OOSH Educator / 2IC, or engagement with school aged children
• Must hold a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or be willing to obtain one with our support
• Commitment to making sure the children in our care are safe and healthy
• Dedication to improving the lives and minds of children, families, and the community
